  • What is Toggle3D?

    Toggle3D is your web-based design studio for converting, texturing, customizing and sharing 3D models on the web. With no prior experience required, Toggle3D empowers anyone to bring their 3D models to life and find more productivity in the third dimension.  

  • How can I get started?

    Start by signing up! Everyone gets a pro free trial for 14 days. No credit card information required. At the end of your free trial you can choose to stay on Pro, or switch to our Enterprise or Free Plans. 

  • Do I need a 3D file to get started?

    Yes. We do not create 3D models, but we can convert your CAD files to web-friendly 3D meshes!  

  • Do you have a free trial?

    Yes, after signup everyone gets to try Pro for 14 days free! 

  • What’s the biggest difference between a free and pro license?

    A free license will give you just enough functionality to try out the platform and explore. By upgrading to a pro plan, you will be granted full access to the entire platform. That means AI texture generation tools, unlimited projects, new templates, larger file uploads, more storage, and other advanced editing tools. 

  • Can I cancel a pro license?

    Yes, you can cancel at any time. Please note that we do not provide refunds for a billing period that has already been paid for. However, any canceled subscriptions will not renew for the next billing period. 

  • Will my CAD files be secure?

    Absolutely. Our team does their due diligence to ensure all your CAD data is stored and encrypted in a safe vault. Once we convert the CAD file into a mesh, your CAD data is deleted promptly with only the resulting mesh saved.  

  • What import formats do you accept?

    .stp, .glb, .obj, .dae .fbx, stl. Looking for a different format? Reach out and let us know! Contact us here! 

  • I don’t have a CAD file or 3D model; how do I start?

    CAD files are proprietary product files usually created by the product manufacturer. We cannot help you obtain CAD files but check out ARitize3D if you are looking to create a 3D model from a few product images! Additionally, our Sketchfab integration allows you to access over 5 million 3D models with just a few clicks.

  • What is private share?

    Private share is a functionality that allows you to share your 3D design with anyone inside the Toggle3D workspace.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel your subscription inside your “Account Settings” by simply downgrading to the free plan. If you wish to remove your account permanently, you can also do this in your ‘Account Settings”. We will be sorry to see you go!  

  • What is a public link?

    A public link is provided in an iframe that you can use to share your 3D model outside the Toggle3D platform. (i.e the iframe can be embedded in another design platform, on your website etc). However, please note our fair use policy that allows a pro user 10,000 free views per month across all public links. If you anticipate more views, please contact us or fill out the support form inside the app.   

  • What is the difference between Basic CAD Conversion and Advanced CAD Conversion?

    Basic CAD Conversion produces a triangle mesh while an advanced CAD conversion produces a quad mesh. In other words, the advanced CAD Conversion will produce a higher-quality 3D model.  

  • How does Toggle3D use generative AI?

    Advanced machine learning algorithms are used all throughout Toggle3D’s conversion and texturing pipelines to ensure the easiest and best user experience. Our newest generative AI features are in the Material Template that allow users to create PBR materials from images and text prompts. Go give it a try!
